hey there!
Hi! I’m Annie, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and yoga teacher. My desire to help others live a healthy lifestyle began with my own health issues when I struggled for many years with Binge Eating Disorder and anxiety. After years of distracting myself from my anxiety and constantly going through the binge and restrict cycle, I finally found freedom.
Through establishing a solid mindfulness practice, I released expectations that myself and others had put on me and accepted myself exactly as I was. Through this work I became very intuitive and began eating what I truly wanted. I learned that your body will tell you a lot if you feed it what it’s asking for and quickly realized that my definition of health had drastically changed from what it always was. I couldn’t believe how liberated I felt from diet culture and societal norms regarding “health” that I had grown to believe. I could no longer keep this newfound freedom and feeling of vibrancy to myself.
In January of 2021 I enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition to expand my knowledge and become a health coach. I now help clients break free from diet culture, find food freedom and live a nourishing life, on and off the plate. I have helped clients reframe their perspective on food and exercise, establish sustainable lifestyle habits that stick, and meet their aesthetic goals with meaningful intention.

From waiting until I was home alone to eat so that I could binge to constantly vowing I’d never make myself sick again, I have been there. It’s exhausting. The good news is you CAN change. When you binge or make unhealthy choices, you are feeding something that is not your physical hunger. Through this feeding and/or repetitive binge eating, your brain has formed a habit loop that is hard to break out of even when you so desperately want to. On top of that, “binge foods” are often highly processed and high in sugar meaning they can be very addictive making it even harder for you to resist and devour.
